“Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. … Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.” (James 5:7-8, ESV)

This week we held one idea in an open hand. Control is the one thing you feel and never actually hold. We named the illusion. We faced the reality that we are a mist. And we learned the surrender. If the Lord wills. And we said the whole thing comes down to one line. What you can’t hold, He never let go of.

So carry the four moves into the weekend. Name it. Open it. Do it. Tell it.

Tomorrow we gather, and we finish the series. James lands the plane in chapter five, and he leaves us with the posture that holds everything together. Be patient until the Lord comes. It turns out the open hand is not just for your calendar. It is for the long wait too.

Today: Find one person and tell them which move you are living this week. Then pray for someone you will see at church tomorrow.
